All three scanners
Three scanners for day and night
TradeBeagle brings three scanners into one member dashboard. Opening Reversal and Short Reversion focus on stocks during trading days. Overnight Crypto adds completed-bar price-action events during weekday nights and Saturday. Each gives you something to investigate on a chart, not an instruction to place a trade.
Choose the scanner for your session
| Scanner | Scheduled window | What you see |
|---|---|---|
| Opening Reversal | Stock trading days, 9:30-9:59:30 AM | Opening range versus ATR. In the members' dashboard, each name carries a scan label for your own research. It isn't advice or a prediction. |
| Short Reversion | Stock trading days, 10:00 AM-4:00 PM | Names flagged by the scanner's 50-period average filter on all seven tracked timeframes. |
| Overnight Crypto | Monday-Friday, midnight-9:20 AM and 4:00 PM-midnight; all Saturday | Range breaks, range rejections, and volatility expansions on completed 15-minute bars. |
Day and night does not mean uninterrupted
Crypto stops at 9:20 AM so the stock scanner can prepare for its 9:30 AM start. Opening Reversal stops at 9:59:30 AM before Short Reversion begins at 10:00 AM. Evening crypto starts after Short Reversion exits at 4:00 PM. These changeovers, startup preparation, and data delays can leave gaps.
All scanners are off Sundays. Saturday crypto stops at midnight going into Sunday; crypto resumes Monday at midnight. Crypto markets themselves continue trading while our scanner is off. A final list may remain visible outside its active window: always check its timestamp.
The hours above describe the regular schedule. Check current service notices for holidays and special market hours; do not assume regular windows apply on every market date.
Three scanners, different kinds of output
Opening Reversal compares the opening range with ATR and orders stock candidates by that measure. Short Reversion checks a stock's positive day move and seven-timeframe moving-average stack. Neither label is a confirmed entry or exit.
Overnight Crypto watches a curated set of crypto pairs using Twelve Data price bars only. It does not use volume, score opportunities, or rank strength. Events are listed by bar time: newest does not mean best. New observations require a completed 15-minute bar; the dashboard refresh is not a tick-by-tick signal.
Move from the dashboard to a chart
- Choose the scanner appropriate to the scheduled window.
- Check the latest scan, event time, and feed status. Old data is context, not a fresh observation.
- Open the stock or crypto pair on your chart and verify the price action and relevant levels.
- Assess liquidity, spread, exchange pricing for crypto, and your risk before deciding whether to act.
If crypto is degraded, some pairs may be unavailable; if it is offline, no pairs are healthy. Crypto depends entirely on Twelve Data. There is no backup crypto data provider: if Twelve Data is unavailable, new events stop for affected pairs until it recovers. We may consider adding a backup provider depending on usage; this is not a commitment. Do not infer that no displayed events means all pairs were checked successfully.
All three scanners are in beta
Opening Reversal, Short Reversion, and Overnight Crypto are all part of the TradeBeagle beta.
Overnight Crypto is included at no extra cost while we test it. Events, hours and availability may change, and after the beta it may become a paid option or be retired. Your plan for the stock scanners isn't affected.
